For Gusto’s first major ad campaign, we were tasked with raising brand awareness while clearly communicating Gusto’s value to consumers. Instead of focusing on the many things that Gusto does well, we decided to concentrate on the things that Gusto definitely does not do while subtly featuring amazing customers like Goldbelly and 1% For the Planet.
Additionally, we needed to crack the challenge of faithfully bringing Gusto’s traditionally 2D illustration style into the 3rd dimension.
